COVID-19 Veteran Relief Grant
Evan Williams recognizes that the COVID-19 emergency has critically impacted many nonprofit organizations, as well as the veterans who you serve. We want to help you continue to serve or expand services to US military veterans in this time of crisis.
Applications will be accepted and responded to on a continuing basis through June 24, 2020.
- 501(c)(3) organizations providing services to US military veterans.
- The American-Made Heroes Foundation supports locally-focused initiatives. The applicant organization should either be a local chapter of a national nonprofit organization or a grassroots, community-based and/or veteran-led nonprofit.
- Your program funding for existing services to veterans has been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis or you are developing new initiatives to serve US military veterans in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
If your organization meets these criteria and your program does not serve people under the age of 21 and does not center on addiction/recovery services, you are invited to apply for the COVID-19 Veteran Relief Grant from the American-Made Heroes Foundation Fund to support your organization’s veteran-focused project or programs. Each organization may submit only one application for funding for this grant.
All 501(c)(3) organizations serving US military veterans which meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply. If your organization is founded by or is led by a US military veteran, please complete the “Veteran Information” section of the application.
Receipt of your application will be acknowledged via an automated email, and you will be notified via email once we’ve made a decision. You can expect grant checks to be mailed out within 10 business days of receiving a signed MOU, pending no unforeseen circumstances. Please be aware that communication from Evan Williams Bourbon and the American-Made Heroes Foundation may unintentionally go to your Spam folder, so please be sure to check that folder if you are awaiting an update. The American-Made Heroes Foundation Fund has a small Programs team that is responsible for reviewing all Emergency Grant requests, so please do not contact Evan Williams about the status of your application, and we appreciate applicants refraining from calling with phone inquiries.
