THE AMERICAN-MADE HEROES FOUNDATION FUND
In order to be considered for the Veteran Community Action Grant, the applicant organization must be a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing at the federal and state level, and must provide some or all of their services to the U.S. military veteran community. The organization must have an annual budget of under $75,000. Each applicant organization must also submit information about a veteran leader over the age of 21 who is closely associated with the organization. The veteran leader may be a founder, staff member, board member, or committed volunteer. The American-Made Heroes Foundation Fund Veteran Community Action Grant may not be used to serve people under the age of 21 or for addiction/recovery related programs.
Each year, Evan Williams celebrates being American-made and owned with the release of limited-edition American Hero bottles. Each label recognizes a diverse group of military veterans, named Evan Williams American-Made Heroes. They exemplify what it means to serve, and have continued to give back to their community through involvement with nonprofits serving the veteran community. Invitations to be featured as an American-Made Hero are extended to veterans we meet through the annual grant application process.
